People like that make it incredibly hard on those HIV carriers who do respect everyone and protect themselves and anyone they come in contact with. You would think that in this day and age, that we as a people and society have evolved to a point where there is a general concern, consensus and awareness for the different health issues that ails mankind and acceptance of what needs to be done to promote a healthy, happy and informed society. Unfortunately, since the average idiot that is going around knowingly infecting people has no regard for the life of themselves or anyone else for that matter, it makes it much harder for people and the government to get the spread of the disease under control.
Hopefully in the future there will be some kind of way that people who are infected are identifiable to those who aren’t if there is a situation that may occur where the possibility of contamination is present. Of course, it would be great if this could be accomplished in such a way that does not infringe on the rights and privacy of anyone or put anyone in any danger. Who knows, with the coming of the New Year we may see some better policies, prevention and protection measures in place for everyone who is and isn’t an HIV/AIDS carrier.
